Scenario of research in the field of dentistry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a large scale as a result of requirements in undergraduate and postgraduate curricula and relevant job Promotion in the academic sectors and instead of excellence in some government agencies sectors. The scope of the research project is likely to be seen as a 'partial' requirement Achieving “and not a continuation of upgrading the source of knowledge. As a doctor a research enthusiast, I have always wondered why students or the employee treats the letter as an exercise to be done. Quick questioning for the students' minds revealed that they were not aware of the importance of the research. They view research as a far-reaching science and may not choose to research as a career choice, and therefore do not feel the need to understand its importance.

This shortage among graduate students may be a result of insufficient focus on the implications of research in our undergraduate curricula. Education the format focuses on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and its application in the clinical field need. On the contrary, a learning process begins with the patient's problem and trying to find answers in solving this problem will constantly engage students in asking related questions. This method of "problem-based learning" when engaging with the application of the current best evidence to solve the problem results in evidence-based needs. To be more specific, “evidence-based practice is conscientious, explicit and judicious use of the best current evidence in making decisions about an individual's care. The patients is not a unique skill to acquire, but rather inherent to our skills the process of thinking during daily logical decisions [1]. Similarly, evidence is based practice is a combination of clinical experience, current best evidence and patient needs in solving our patient's problem. Clinical expertise comes with years of experience and the best current knowledge comes from research publications that are constantly filling in the gaps in knowledge. Hence the people doing research (researchers) come out clinical sometimes useful knowledge and people using research (doctors) can be encountered. It has problems (research question) for which no answers were found.

Personal writing research is an inseparable part of our profession because we are always there engage search. Having said that, it is important for us to identify the good and the beneficial Search by critical evaluation of research articles. In order to do that, one must be equipped with an understanding of how to solve the problem (study design) and in how many patients were studied (sample size). While engaging in research, perhaps we should also realize that most research (quantitative research) documents answers to a research question are in the form of numbers. The only way to analyze this numbers through the application of Probability, Biostatistics, and the making of it essential for an understanding of statistical methods. This might sound confusing if you do a search treated as a separate topic, but seems traditional if used as a file a working tool in our clinical practice or a research vector. As dental professionals, either researchers or doctors, we can choose to love it or hate it, but we cannot ignore it.
